In the other bowl, I want you to place nothing

You can place your island
in a smaller bowl

That way your island doesn't go underwater
Now glue your two bowls together
making a circle
You may want to get some clear bowls
Because seeing is believing right
Now make sure you use some good glue
Now when your glue is dry
You place your earth in your hands
because you are gravity
Now slowly move your earth slowly
Now only half of your planet
Have water and an island
That side is flat
The other side is flat too
but it holds air
As you gravity move it
Now because of you gravity
Your island moves with the water because of the water
As gravity move your planet
The water move with it
Which is why the island is always in the same spot
If you place a boat in the water
it will go to the other side of the island
If you fly a plane
With the air movement
You will end up on the other side of the island

In the water
However, half of the earth ground level is flat
It is why with power
Man can fly out into space
