I Think It's Time for Us to Go Door to Door

I know when the others come to my door I say no thank you take care and close the door.  

Some don't get the point, then I say I'm good no thank you. 

However, every blue moon it's that one, who will come & try to put his or her foot in my door before I close it. 

That's when I ask, why are you here? 

The answer is always the same. I want to teach you God loves you If you just read right here.

 I answer back, I don't want to read that & we don't believe in the same God. 

They always answer back, the devil can't help you, my child or my sister.

 I ask do they love me,

 they answer yes, we love all God's Children and we can teach you.

 Then I say, why are you judging me then? 

They quit try to say, they are not.

I reply, but you said the devil can't save me, I never said anything about the devil you but that on me. I just said we don't believe in the same God. 

Now the book you hold, tells you, not to judge me, but you must love me. 

As I see it you only made one sin here, if we go by that book. 

However, I don't go by that book, 

please let me finish (this where they try to cut me off)

 Now using your foot to stop me from closing my door is breaking the law, that's a sign of breaking in. 

Saying or trying to say I worship a devil is you being a bully. 

Nice & nasty, but that's ok. 

now unlike you, I will not push what I believe on you because you didn't ask. 

like I didn't ask for you to knock on my door to tell me what you believe I should believe in.

 Please hear me out. (this is where they try to leave, some will call me out my name and others will wait and say sorry and leave)

 I mean I was doing something, but I'm here now. but they always leave. 

but I'll say, why would I follow someone who thinks they know me

and you never ask me my name or get to know me?

You just came with one think on your mind and that is that book.

Next time, be my friend and you will learn that I know that book

but I don't need the book because

I didn't call them out their name

I didn't push or told them what I believe in

I can be in food lion and one will see me and say sorry for calling me out my name

one asks what do I believe in, why Tip was helping them because they were broke down on the side of the road. 

If I see that they are not open

just trying to find a way into my soul that's not locked down anymore
