Out of the Broom Closet

My Neoconda's Dolls it's ok to close out. You don't have to yell it

out loud. you don't have to have your broom or cards in hand. wear a small pentacle in public

If you need to be careful wearing it

only wear it under your clothing

If someone asks you what it means

With a smile and say just one powerful love

and explain what you mean

with one line and nothing more

leave them thinking only of your smile as they were trying to take it away

The same with family, friends, & coworkers

I love the earth there is always something new to learn

Coming out as a witch isn't easy

As you will be rejected and told you are going to hell.

How can they judge, when their good book told them not to

They must love you anyway as it is writing

for he who has not sinned

can throw a stone

that right there is funny

Your life is your book of shadows

write it down

and see your power grow

You don't have to change the way you look or dress

you only have to change the way you think

you can't be in fear because of rejects

it's ok to be misunderstood

It's just a feeling it will go away

but fear will stay if you don't kick it in its place

besides, you are only standing up for yourself
